  2. UC5 #125: Studio 15, Lot 2: I discovered a minor bust, but this may already be known to Jeffrey, Idk. At the beginning, you don't actually need to step on the thief to make it back alive (in MS; didn't try in Lynx) which means you get to keep the FF boots. In turn, this makes it possible to grab the yellow key early, rendering the flippers and extra fire boots pointless. UC5 #132: Breeze Harbor: I cannot figure out how to beat this level. Maybe you can give me a hint? I know you need to bridge down to the teleport, and use the bug to get to the tank button, but this means you don't have enough blocks to get the red key that the gliders and paramecium are circling. I know there must be something simple I'm missing...

That might be true but more doesn't always necessarily mean better, in my opinion.

  9. Which CC game do you play?

CC2 has more tools and thus more potential for levels in general, if you can ignore the odd quirk in its mechanics here and there.

  16. My New Project

It's been a long time since I had news, so here's an informational update! I've added a control+click feature to insert a terrain without erasing the rest of the cell contents. Also, I'm working on dialogs to edit the properties of individual tiles. Here's a preview: I hope to be able to release a program update with these features in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned.
  17. J.B.'s Official Set Scores

    CCLP4 (MS) #78 (Aquatic Ruins): 525 (+1, b+1) joint record with Jeffrey B. 6,110,130 (b)
  18. IHNN's scores

CCLP4 (MS) 078: 525 (+1, b+1) [Aquatic Ruins] (joint bold w/ J.B.) 6,102,040 (125 bolds) 4 straight +1 second reports in the same day on the same level. I kind of wish this was still the newsgroup era where this sort of thing doesn't spam up a forum
  19. IHNN's scores

CCLP4 (MS)078: 524 (+1, bc) [Aquatic Ruins]6,102,030 (125 bolds) This route sucks, would not recommend going for. Routing the level is fun though.
  20. Which CC game do you play?

If I had more time and didn't play many other games I would play CC1 more often but I pretty much only play CC2 these days (and that's not even real often). Mainly because it's new and fresh. I loose interest in games quickly. I had steam already (I was surprised to see some steam bashing here, but understandable) so I was happy to see it come to it in 2015. I pretty much have a similar but opposite view: I prefer the idiosyncrasies of CC2. Idk why I just find it smoother for me personally. The movement and controls immediately felt natural, more so than MS CC or tileworld which always felt weird to me. IMO in MS I hate the extra step chip takes when you hold down the key* and tileworld feels like he stops too short. *No I refuse to press the key repeatedly instead of holding it down like I've heard people do on stream.... I can't even believe people do that!? I also like the graphics of CC2 better than MS or Tileworld. It's similar enough to the originals to satisfy my nostalgia also.

  27. Which CC game do you play?

I'd be willing to give CC2 a go but I'm stuck on a Mac at the moment >_< and there's no port of it *yet*. If it was available, I think my vote would change to what's currently the majority.
