  4. Walls of CCLP2 v1

    version 1 released Feb 2, 2018.
    Currently 26 levels.
    All Levels have been tested; should be all solvable and all bonuses should be obtainable as well. Please let me know immediately if a level is unsolvable or of any other problems. This pack has no custom music atm.

  6. Walls Of Chip's Challenge 1.4.0

    The remodeling of the Clubhouse is halfway complete!
    -Contains 76 levels all based on the layout of classic Chip's Challenge puzzles.
    -New since version 1.3.0:
    Reordered levels to create an approximate difficulty curve (still a work in progress... I need to make more easy levels!) Recorded and saved replays of all levels Added 10 levels: MARKTKANAAL (replaces CENTRAAL STATION), CONQUEST, MY MOTHER SAYS, DISINTEGRATOR INTEGRATOR, HOOPLA, SALMON RUN, THE AMAZING VORTEX, A MAN OF MANY LAYERS, NURSERY GAMES, GREENLIGHT Updated TELEBLAST to prevent cooking the level by pushing a block over the exit or by moving the teleports out of reverse reading order. Renamed FIGHTING FIRE WITH ICE to FIREFIGHTER and moved placement of buttons to fix an annoying bug. Made STACKS much easier by replacing chips with bonus flags along the edges of the bug room. Replaced beginning puzzle of SLIDESHOW SIDESHOW with a much harder and more interesting puzzle. Added two blue doors to make the endgame of TANTALIZING BARRIERS easier; the original solution is still possible and scores bonuses. Made FOOTRACE THROUGH FIRE SWAMP much easier, put more emphasis on the `footrace' and less on the other puzzles. Renamed ERRBODY GOT PROBLEMS to TWELVE BAR BLUES. Added speed boots to FAVORABLE DISTRIBUTION. Removed most of the icy corridors from DOWNTOWN HESITATION to make walkers much less deadly. If you try nothing else, at least check out:

  11. Light and Dark

    An 8-level set inspired by Super Meat Boy. You play through 4 light worlds, and then you play through 4 dark worlds which are all partial tile inversions (i.e. the walls become the floor and other such things) of their respective light world levels. The order is the same, so dark world 1 is the inversion of light world 1 etc.
     
    The levels are all medium to long in duration and on the harder side difficulty-wise, though none are super hard. I've tested them all and recorded solutions to them as well, so if you really get stuck you can check the editor and see how it's solved (something I didn't do for my previous two sets).

  13. Nanamin's Challenge

    Hello again everyone!
     
    It's been just over a year since I uploaded my last level set. This set is a lot better than my first set, and it's also a lot larger - 60 levels, covering a variety of puzzle styles and types (hopefully). While I tried to create as much variety as possible, I also have some patterns that cross over, such as levels which are partial tile inversions of other levels. One example of this is '24. Lattice Palace' and '27. Palace Dungeon' (you can see a little bit of each of them in two of the screenshots). It took me the whole year to make this set and I'm very pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I've enjoyed building and testing them!

    These are the entries for the June 2016 create competition. Being the first ever Chip's Challenge 2 competition, the goal of this was to create a tutorial styled level, since the main game lacked on proper introductions to some elements.

  16. Mystic Challenge

    Hello! This is a 22-level set based on the 22 major arcana of the tarot! The maps sometimes resemble the imagery on the cards, and at other times merely embody the spirit of the cards. The puzzles generally don't involve a lot of monster dodging, but I tried to make the maps as varied as the cards themselves. I hope you enjoy playing them as much I enjoyed making them ^^
     
    Includes (in the second zip labelled 'extra music') a custom-made piece of ragtime music which is the bgm for map 15 'The Devil'.
     
    Note: Unrelated to this set, but I'm almost finished working on a 60-level set with no specific theme and I feel it is a massive improvement on the quality of the levels in 'Mystic Challenge'. Though I still feel good about 'Mystic Challenge' as a set, if you're in any way unsatisfied with it as you play through it, I hope this new set I'm making can satisfy you instead!

  19. CC2 Rejects

    These are the 200 levels that DIDN'T get chosen for the CC2 official set. All were made between September 1998 and April 1999 by the original design team.
     
    I am releasing these with Chuck's permission.
     
    Release Notes:
     
    -I have not playtested this set. All of these levels were solvable when they were first released, however, there have been a few logic updates since then, so there could conceivably be some unsolvable levels in the mix. I doubt there are, but I can't guarantee it.
     
    -I ordered these levels according to the final difficulty rating they received during the initial voting. This turns out to be not always very accurate! During the voting process many of the first levels to be released were voted as being very difficult, and then as more levels came along it turned out that what some people thought was a '10' at the beginning of the process was really more in line with a '6' at the end of the process. But I think that just makes for some nice variety with the difficulty curve.
     
    -Seven levels were submitted late and were never voted on. I ordered them as I thought appropriate. (They are SWEET SIXTEEN, THAT FIGURES, CYCLE ME THROUGH, and SHORT HAND OPERATION by Joshua Bone and LITTLE BIRD, ALL ALIKE, and CENTER PEDE by Bill Darrah.
     
    -I did not include a few levels which were minor variations of each other (such as 6 different versions of CHIP OFF THE BLOCK).
     
    -I made no changes to levels or time limits, but I did make some minor edits to level titles and authors, mostly to fix typos. I also re-ordered some of the sequel levels because there were instances where the sequel was less difficult than the original.
     
    -While the overall level quality is certainly worse than that of CC2, there are some very memorable levels in this mix! Towards the second half especially there are some very good levels that were rejected solely for being too difficult. But as should be expected, there are also some astonishingly terrible levels and quite a few examples of mediocre or abysmal level design. Feel free to skip as necessary.

  22. CCLP1 for Steam

    This is basically a version of CCLP1 modified to be playable in CC2 (Steam). Logic circuits were used when necessary. All levels should be solvable except 124 (Utter Clutter), as I have not yet figured out a way to port the trap section.
     
    The levels were ported to CC2 by chipster1059, except The Last Starfighter and In The Pink, which were ported by their creator, Dave Varberg.
