  5. Miika Makes Magic

    I finally put together some CC2 levels. There are 16 levels here for now. I wasn't sure if I should call it something like Fairfair or Provingrounds, so I just went with something which could contain in my own name for once.
    The first two are actual levels that are not ported from CC1. However, neither puzzle was completely created by myself. (see the first two preview pictures) Thanks to pieguy for allowing me to play around with his design from years ago. For the other one, I didn't try to ask for approval. 
    Most of the rest of the levels are simple ports from my CC1 levels. They are not my best CC1 levels, but the ones that were both easy to port and I liked for some reason. I also threw in three levels I had made and released for CC2 create competitions, mainly to have them in one place (and I don't plan on releasing many CC2 sets).
    I guess I submit these levels to be included in CC2LP1. More importantly, I hope you take a quick look and see if there is something here that could give you a few moments of enjoyment, puzzlement and escapism.

    Hi!
    It's been a while since I've released CC2 levels, and I finished this set up just in time for CC2LP1 submissions. Contained within are 100 levels that range from easy to very hard, all of which are solvable and contain replays (except one) if you get truly stuck. Additionally, there's a goodie bag which contains an old, rejected version of a level, two alternate CC2LP1 submission versions of levels, and the entire original IHNN1 (now IHNN0, because it's non-canon.)
    I've worked really hard on this ever since CCCreator was released and enjoyed playtesting over the past week, and I hope you all enjoy it too. Additional thanks to both chipster1059 and Andrew Menzies for playtesting assistance. You guys saved me a few hours, at least.
    Level 60 is a splitscreen level, and CC2 currently does not support second player input in splitscreen replays. The level is solvable and an alternate, standard view version is included with a replay. The level is definitely best played as a splitscreen level, however.

  12. 100 Tiles 2.0--Best of the Rest (Preview)

    A collection of CC2 ports of CC1 levels I made that never got into an official set.  Most of these play very similarly to their CC1 counterparts, with Parallels being the only level so far to have a section completely thrown out and replaced with something different.  I tried to allow boot dropping wherever possible, but a few levels don't allow it (indicated with a hint and a "down arrow + no-boot sign" tile pair as a visual indicator).  Unless something goes horribly wrong, I plan to add more levels to this set at least once before the CC2LP1 submission deadline.

    40 from TSAlpha. Monorail not submitted since it's in CCLP4. Two of Gimmick Isle Zero's sections were made into their own levels, both Great Job CC2 levels were shortened, and the transformer section of Enter the Void was made into its own level. 5 from TSBeta 4 from TSNull 1 unreleased port of a TS1 level

  21. Chipit or Whiffit

    This is the full release of my first Chip's Challenge 2 custom levelset.  Are you smart enough, brave enough, persistent enough to persevere through all 40 of the challenges contained within?  Or will you whiff it and bail out?  Only one way to find out...
    There are 40 levels in this pack, as well as a .c2g file to make them playable as a set in Chip's Challenge 2.  33 of them are unique to this set, and the other 7 were submitted to various level design contests here on CCZone.  (4 of those are remakes of CC1 contest levels that didn't have a CC1 set to call a home.)  There are several casual levels, but due to the pack's small size the difficulty ramps up fairly quickly.  I recommend you have moderately good knowledge of CC2 mechanics before attempting this set.  (Playing the first half of CC2 should suffice.)  Also, after you play each level, feel free to load it in the editor and open the Properties dialog box--I left comments describing their history!
    I hereby submit all 40 levels in this set to be considered for all CC2 community level packs.  However, note that Level 23 (Sticky Controls) forbids boot dropping (and mentions this in the hint).  It can't really be redesigned to avoid this easily.  Depending on the rules of community level packs, this may disqualify it from consideration.
     
    I would like to give thanks to mobius and chipster1059 for playtesting parts of this set.  Their feedback helped me adjust some frustrating sections to be a bit easier.
     
    I have also included a "rejects" set of levels that were either unfinished, prototypes of actual levels, or just deemed not good enough to make the final 40.   Out of those, I submit "Roasted Apples" for CCLP consideration.  The others I'm not submitting, as they're either too simple, obviously incomplete, or too similar to levels in the actual set.

  25. Walls of CC2

    Templates i made for the February 2019 Create Comp. Each version contains a .c2m for each level as well as a .ccs for the whole set.
    The pure version is regular, steel, and custom walls only. In the other version, i tried to pick out the most prominent tiles (in some cases i actually removed certain walls, like T-N-T Time).
