Like MSCC Redux but better, credits are all the same with help from Kawaiiprincess360 on top of it all, many tiles have been overhauled and colours now blend even better

  2. Chip Kart

So here's a fun little tileset I've been working on. I call it Chip Kart. It's for MS mode in Tile World.
So what it is is basically a tileset where every monster is on a kart, even the tank!
Chip, of course, is also driving a kart.
Most of the rest of the tileset is like the original MS CC tileset. The differences, besides the kart drivers, are tools being special kart tires, flippers being an emergency floatie, the thief has a light blue helmet, and the exit has a checkered finish line.
To install, rename the file tiles, and paste it in Tile World's res folder, if you must replace a tiles file that was already there, you might want to make a copy of said file before you replace it.
    Enjoy.

  3. Nom Nom Nom

    Chip is now Teeth
    All chip's are now Chip
All Teeth are now moving bombs.

Teeth in water, Teeth in exit and Teeth in fire and burnt Teeth was taken from Teeth Challenge tileset by Jacques Smith.  The rest of the edits was done by me manipulating the original tiles.bmp.

  4. Chip's Challenge 2 MSCC Redux

A fully comprehensive MSCC skin for CC2, not a single sprite or tile has not been looked over. Several of the tiles in here however are taken from other sets, the numbers are a few too many to count but basically if you made an MSCC styled CC2 sprite its probably in here.
Everything in this sheet has been reduced to the original 16 colours of the base game and all CC2 sprites have been adjusted to better fit the MSCC style.
Feel free to edit parts of this and use the tiles in your own set, I would be honoured if you did.

Issues: some tiles aren't exactly perfect, such as the foil which I couldn't get exactly right but is still somewhat MSCC, and the dirt patch tile which doesn't match its original MSCC appearance as I didn't want to give people who use smooth scrolling a seizure, logic gates remain unchanged other than colours as modifying those would A. throw people off and B. they already look fine.
    Enjoy the Set!

    Credits:
scutilla: for the original CC2 MS tileset that was improved heavily upon
Sickly Silver Moon: for most of the original overhaul work
Ryan J.: changes to many many tiles throughout iterations, solely responsible for the new ghost, and stay up + push down walls
ncrecc: For many new tiles and improvements including removal of animations and the new Transmogrifier and slime
The Chip's Challenge Discord Server Members: for their continued support, ideas, and suggestions for improvement
(Notably: Indy, IHNN, Chipster, Tyler, Naemuti, Flareon350, Cowman_133, Vehudur / Lessinath, Sharpeye & the other marketers; and plenty others who Chipped in to help and improve)
Ed Halley: for creating the original Microsoft tileset used in the Microsoft WEP release, without that this project wouldn't exist
    And finally:
You: for taking the time to download and use this tileset, or even just consider looking at it. Without you this project would be pointless, thank you.

  5. tiles.bmp fixed

I updated and fixed the microsoft tileset for tile world.
For some reason the transparency mask was off by a few pixel on some tiles, giving them a very noticeable border.
Also the image was upscaled (because the original tileset by microsot is way too small for today displays), but in the process the image was made blurrier. I corrected that, and this tileset is now two times as big as the original but still sharp.
I had to change the colors of the pink ball from #ff00ff to #ff00fe beacuse the first one is also used by tile world for transparency. The difference is not noticeable of course, but pink balls are no longer transparents.

  6. CC2 - MSCC Tileset V2

An updated appearance to the MSCC tileset previous found here to use for your CC2 designing/playing experience.
Various tiles have been recolored or changed out entirely to look smoother.
To use, simply place it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Chip's Challenge 2\data\bmp (The exact file path may vary depending on where you installed Steam, but you get the idea.) It is recommended to back up your original chips2.bmp first though.
When using this, keep in mind that the thieves are switched here; the cyan thieves are the actual boot stealing thieves like in the original CC game and likewise the red thieves steal your keys. Another thing is because of the lack of a upward facing teeth tile, when teeth chase you going north they will be facing downward. Walkers also do this for some reason. Not many of these tiles are animated, though some are still like the force floors and water.
I do not take complete full credit for this.

  7. moonwalk.bmp

A simple tweak to the MS ruleset that switches Chip's left/right and up/down tiles so he moonwalks everywhere.
Difficult to coordinate when playing, but fun to watch playback of a solution!

  8. Chip's Challenge 2 - MSCC Tileset

A tileset made by Scutilla on the Steam Workshop website found here.

Some of the tiles here, however, are different compared to the download there. I went ahead and swapped out some tiles such as the ice block and blue teeth, and replaced them with ones that were made by Tyler Sontag, to make it look a little nicer.

Ice block, blue teeth, yellow tank controller, green walls, bowling ball, and the extra chip tile were made by Tyler Sontag. Everything else is either from the original game or was made by the original uploader.

As noted on the link, to use simply place it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Chip's Challenge 2\data\bmp (The exact file path may vary depending on where you installed Steam, but you get the idea.) It is recommended to back up your original chips2.bmp first though.

When using this, keep in mind that the thieves are switched here; the cyan thieves are the actual boot stealing ones like in the original CC game and likewise the red thieves are the key stealing ones. Another thing is because of the lack of a upward facing teeth tile, when teeth chase you going north they will be facing downward. It's silly I know but it can't be helped. Also if it's not obvious already, not many of these tiles are animated, though some are still like the force floors and water.

I only take credit for the tile swapping. Enjoy!

  10. Boulder Dash Tileset (with some sounds and messages)

This is a tileset based off the 1984 Atari/Commodore game, Boulder Dash (with some elements also used from its official and fan-made sequels.) Version for both Lynx and Microsoft are included with several tweaks made between the two to accommodate for different graphical behaviors. I've yet to draw some more fitting particle explosions, but the default ones don't look too bad - and new ones are by no means out of the question yet; I just don't have time currently.

I've also included quite a few sounds as well as a different set of pop-up messages for TW2 users.

Within the folder are two "rc" files - the "rc - BD" is the standard one that will use all the new elements: graphics, sounds, and messages (TW2). The other, "rc - BD-gfx_only" is also included, should you wish to use only the altered graphics alone.

Please enjoy and don't hesitate to contact me with any queries and/or suggestions!

  11. Felix's CC2 tileset

    Here's my CC2 tileset.

Some of the tiles are heavily based off the CC2 or MS versions of the graphics, with my own twist, others are redrawn completely.

  12. atiles.bmp

This is the exact same atiles.bmp (created by Anders Kaseorg, with assistance from POV-Ray) that ships with Tile World, but without animations for force floors, water, fire, bombs, teleports, toggle walls, clone machines and exits.

Anders Kaseorg has explicitly placed the original atiles.bmp file in the public domain. This modification is also in the public domain.

  13. Felix Challenge

This is my complete redraw of the MSCC tileset.

Version 2.0 now with a Tile World Lynx tileset!
Also a lot of stuff is used from my CC2 tileset and colors are generally a little bit less washed out.

See the readme.txt file for instructions to install it
