It does move- if the initial direction chosen is left or right, the blob gets stuck bouncing between the gravel and the chip. If it's up or down, the level works as expected.

Not a glitch, not unsolvable, at least not for that reason. I haven't looked at the rest of the level.

I really like the level up to that point. It gets really hard later by the paramecium and tank. I have solved it before. It's a real drag to get that far through the level and see the blob not bouncing up and down. It could be fixed using a wall tile with the blob on it to start with. Then the blob would have only one choice to go on the ice. There wouldn't be much other stuff to rebuild... something like this:

Alrightee then... I have solved it again and posted a new record on David Stolp's website. (321)

The Other 100 Tiles #100 (last level) "The Perfect Run".

In Lynx, is the Swip Swap section doable? As far as I can tell, even executing the perfect run, by the time the teeth is spat out the conveyor belt, you cannot get high enough to stop him from wandering back right into your column.

It's possible- just run straight to the tile to the left of the start of the slide, then when the teeth moves down run to the trap.

muchas gracias - I was going down down from the left side of the belt to get him on, rather than getting close to him, which adds just enough extra leeway to pull it off!

KobaM1.dat -  level 138 - Koba Sonata in C Major

This level is unsolvable because there is no green toggle button. :(

Ihavenoname248: Did you try (9, 18)?

Yes. I even downloaded a new copy of the set from davidstolp.com and it still isn't there.

Where did you download it from?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the one on this site has the green button.

BTW, this level is set as an untimed level on davidstolp.com, but it is timed!

KobaM1.dat level 141 - Just a Little Catch

The 'block under a block' doesn't work.

JoshL6 - Level 2 - Scandinavia

I found this level to be unsolvable. There is no way to push the block into the water to get the green key. The wall at 15,22 could be changed to a FF south. Has anyone else had this problem or am I missing something?

First off, Scandinavia is level 14 of JoshL6, not level 2.

Second, the level is solvable, as seen on pieguy's site... Push the block at (15, 23), go back to the toggle button at (18, 16) then press the one at (13, 26) to get the green key.

Firstly, I did not edit the set. I have it as level 2 of JoshL6, but level 14 in JoshL6-extended. Secondly... SHOOT, I did miss something. It must be my blurred eyes these days.

JoshL6-extended is the latest version and is only titled as such on pieguy's site. It's still JoshL6. :P It being level 2 sounds like you have the 40 level version, which has been out of date for quite some time and I strongly recommend updating. That version holds levels I've since rejected out of the set.

Uh-huh. Okay. I'm not gonna report any more unsolvable levels. :(

BTW, your levels are awesome! (Y) :)

I can at least confirm that all JoshL6 levels are solvable, in both rulesets :)

Thanks (Y) hope you enjoy them!

It should be noted that I have been working on a comprehensive database of ALL unsolvable levels.

Jimmy and I collaborated on one several years ago, and fortunately I saved my notes. I working on updating those notes (many sets have since been fixed), plus adding on the new sets that have been released.

Note that I will need volunteers to confirm (how shall we call it?) unsolvancy!  :P

It's important that players more experienced than I am (er....that would be anyone) take a look and confirm that a level is indeed beyond repair.

Just as Josh has been doing for Steven.  :-)

That's what I was hoping to accomplish with my recent changes to my level database, to allow for other players to update level set links, level title lists, solvability in both rulesets...and to take all that work off of me  :P since there was a lot of missing information on my site with just me updating it.  Maybe we could somehow combine our projects/information to make one super-database...it sounds like you have already gathered way more data than I have.  :)

Was already thinking that. Sent you an email.
