Did you think the original Chip's Challenge had levels that were just too big? Or do you just dislike levels that unnecessarily take up the whole map? Well this is the set for you!
All 149 levels from the original CC1, scaled down to small sizes but still retain what they accomplished in their original forms. No huge levels, no huge time limits. Just scaled down, simple fun!
A compilation of every key themed level I've ever designed.
There's a few of them.
This is also 99.9% a meme set.
Dedicated to Tango.
Sometime in 2016, I attempted at a project that would have been my ultimate CC1 set - Walls of CCLP1. I was inspired enough by Joshua Bone's Walls of CC1 to attempt it but as an actual CC1 set.
It looked promising, I had built about 20 levels for it, but due to lack of ideas and just the overall thought I was probably trying too hard, I lost sight of the project and aborted it completely.
What was made for it was savaged and placed into what some call "JoshL6-extended", but the thought of fully doing a walls of set remained in the back of my mind since then, just at that point in time, I wasn't ready. Maybe it was best to save it for another day.
Then out comes Walls of CCLP4, which brought back an amazing amount of inspiration to try a walls of set again. But there was a problem now. I already tried with CCLP1 and didn't want to go at it again so I passed that up (Both J.B. and Isaac started up their own Walls of CCLP1 sets anyway!)
As mentioned, CC1's were being done by Joshua Bone and likewise CCLP2's walls by mobius respectively as CC2 sets, though neither of them as CC1 walls of sets honestly didn't sound fun so I passed them up as well. CCLP4... I did consider and it was very tempting since Jeffrey and I are vastly different designers so there probably wouldn't have been overlap? But at the end of the day I didn't want to take from Jeffrey's set so that was passed up too.
With that out of the way, what other official set was left?
CCLP3. Boy was this an interesting set to use for a walls of set but a really fun and challenging one nonetheless. Not only that, but CCLP3 is what brought me into this community, so this set despite my feelings towards it, has some kind of meaning to me. This project started on March 27th, 2018, exactly 8 months ago, with Socket Shrine using Toggle Bust as the first designed level while Take a Bite of My Heart using Item Unlocker being the last designed on November 15th.
Working on this set reminded me not to be afraid to design certain things and don't let others dislikes affect what you want to build. Compared to all my other sets, this set I've easily put the most amount of effort into. There's no questioning that. I explored and toyed with so many concepts and ideas for this set like you wouldn't believe. I went with ideas I thought I'd never use. I worked with walls configurations I thought I'd never hit an idea on and almost certainly would have never built outside of this project. Every level I've made here... I had so much fun making each and every one of them, even the ones that took forever to get an idea for. But that's the joy of building new levels out of predetermined wall patterns. There's always something new or different to build with them. Just look at Semi-Perfect Stronghold, Condemned Faculty, and Tank Game Reborn which all used wall patterns that have been used at least 3 times prior.
Now about the files - there are three of them:
Walls_of_CCLP3 is the difficulty ordered version and is the recommended/preferred one to play through.
Walls of CCLP3-A is the CCLP3 ordered version.
Walls of CCLP3-B is the order by how the levels were designed.
The latter two versions are included mostly for fun and whether you play through them instead is up to you. But be warned - those don't include a difficulty curve or any kind of content balancing whatsoever. In case I missed something that needs fixing, which is sadly always a possibility, all versions will be updated as so none get left out. Every level has been tested and solved in both rulesets.
Many thanks to the various people who have played through the iterative releases throughout the year and/or provided feedback! It was extremely appreciated and helpful in making this set as good as it can be.
Will this be my last CC1 set? Honestly with how many times I've said that, I doubt it at this point. CC2 designing has been on the mind lately but I won't ever ditch CC1 designing for it. Call it a comfort thing, but I have more fun with it than probably ever will for CC2. However, with CC2LP1 happening soon, who knows? I'll design whatever I want at this point. I have a few CC1 projects in mind at this very moment... but that's for another time.
And with that, I sincerely hope you enjoy my take on the Walls of CCLP3.

An updated appearance to the MSCC tileset previous found here to use for your CC2 designing/playing experience.
Various tiles have been recolored or changed out entirely to look smoother.
To use, simply place it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Chip's Challenge 2\data\bmp (The exact file path may vary depending on where you installed Steam, but you get the idea.) It is recommended to back up your original chips2.bmp first though.
When using this, keep in mind that the thieves are switched here; the cyan thieves are the actual boot stealing thieves like in the original CC game and likewise the red thieves steal your keys. Another thing is because of the lack of a upward facing teeth tile, when teeth chase you going north they will be facing downward. Walkers also do this for some reason. Not many of these tiles are animated, though some are still like the force floors and water.
I do not take complete full credit for this.
As it turns out, I had more ideas, even after extending JoshL6. I cannot promise I won't make any more CC1 levels anymore.
This is my 7th levelset in the JoshL series! Contains 70 brand new levels compatible and solvable in both MS and Lynx rulesets! Various levels here once again, use wall configurations seen in other sets. Few feature somewhat new concepts that I personally haven't seen done before. Very few were designed for create competitions. Even fewer were even re-designed or re-purposed from an older set in some way! And of course... there's mazes! Lots of them.
Overall, I'm very pleased with how this set turned out! I did my best with the ordering and I tried to explore areas I particularly don't tackle in level design much anymore, such as monster manipulation and fairly difficult puzzles that aren't annoying to play over.
I'm very excited to hear some feedback on these.
I hope you enjoy! Feedback thread can be found here.
A tileset made by Scutilla on the Steam Workshop website found here.
Some of the tiles here, however, are different compared to the download there. I went ahead and swapped out some tiles such as the ice block and blue teeth, and replaced them with ones that were made by Tyler Sontag, to make it look a little nicer.
Ice block, blue teeth, yellow tank controller, green walls, bowling ball, and the extra chip tile were made by Tyler Sontag. Everything else is either from the original game or was made by the original uploader.
As noted on the link, to use simply place it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Chip's Challenge 2\data\bmp (The exact file path may vary depending on where you installed Steam, but you get the idea.) It is recommended to back up your original chips2.bmp first though.
When using this, keep in mind that the thieves are switched here; the cyan thieves are the actual boot stealing ones like in the original CC game and likewise the red thieves are the key stealing ones. Another thing is because of the lack of a upward facing teeth tile, when teeth chase you going north they will be facing downward. It's silly I know but it can't be helped. Also if it's not obvious already, not many of these tiles are animated, though some are still like the force floors and water.
I only take credit for the tile swapping. Enjoy!
This is Josh's Chip's Challenge Level Pack 1 (JCCLP1), created by Josh Lee [Flareon350]
This set holds my best 149 levels and is fully Lynx-compatible! Many of the levels are from my previous sets (JoshL1, JoshL2 & JoshL3) but also some are brand new and never seen before. Most levels from my previous sets have been slightly modified to match my design style today and/or to be less tedious.
This set is also somewhat arranged by difficulty. Expect a challenging level or two at all times
JoshL1 - 19 levels
JoshL2 - 35 levels
JoshL3 - 30 levels
65 NEW LEVELS
Special thanks goes to:

Grandiosely envisioned and hastily constructed by the CCLP4 staff as our April Fools 2016 joke. This set is intended to be awfully bad. Likewise this is not CCLP4 and definitely will not be like the real thing. First, last, and only version released April 1, 2016.
This was made purely for hilarity purposes only.
Basically, this is just CC1 but every monster in every level is now a blob, leading from various shenanigans to impossibility to interesting solutions.
NOT FOR SERIOUS GAMEPLAY!
Enjoy! Have a good laugh
4/2/2013: Final update. Every level is now possible to complete. Most tedious levels were modified to be completed quicker and easier as well.
All submissions for July 2014's create competition, where the objective was to create a summer themed level with at least one partial post. Level order is the order I received the entries. A winner has yet to be determined.
These are my solutions to my levelset, JCCLP in the MS ruleset. This TWS file is current & up-to-date. Enjoy!
5/11/2012: Fixed Level 76 solution.
5/12/2012: Added Level 34 solution, as well as updated a few others.
5/27/2012: Updated various level solutions, including the newly replaced/fixed ones.
6/18/2012: Level 149 solution has been added.
Hello all! This is my 2nd level set, titled JoshL2! It consists of 150 levels, some being easy, some being moderately difficult, some being pretty puzzling at first.
In this set, you will experience:
-Great levels that should be strongly considered for CCLP1!
-Quite a bit of block pushing (sorry about that)
-Amazing and hilarious concepts
-Levels that will lie to you
-Levels that might make you scream your head off
This set is mostly Lynx compatible!
This is my 4th levelset in the JoshL series. Holding 80 very puzzling levels, 24 of which were seen in JCCLP! Highly recommended for veteran players, as most levels are 5 star difficulty. There are some breather levels so don't feel overwhelmed.
Compatible with Lynx and somewhat assorted by difficulty.
This is my first ever created level set, which was made by me some few years ago. It used to be worst with 201 levels, but this has 120 levels and is compatible in Lynx!
Disclaimer: I still don't recommend playing this since these levels are very unoriginal.
This set was created by my brother, Brandon Lee, which I am uploading on his behalf. Contains 22 levels to be considered for CCLP4.
While first released on August 28th, 2014, it was brought to my attention that not many of my newer levels were showcased in the original, thus realizing I had completely rushed the original release and well... also realizing there were a lot of crap levels in the original release.
...so here's a brand new, much better, re-released JCCLP2 - my second official "best-of" level set! Special thanks to the one and only J.B. Lewis, for the idea to overhaul this set for without him, I never would have considered it!
Like JCCLP before it, this set holds my best 145 levels from my latter three JoshL sets (4, 5, and 6) and is fully Lynx-compatible! It is also arranged by difficulty and includes 2 levels from my rejects set that I feel have been liked enough by various community members to be showcased here! It also includes 2 brand new levels - made specifically for this set.
As for the levels themselves, most of them retain the changes I've made to them for CCLP4 consideration while others have altered time limits. In addition, there's also secret hints scattered across the set! Find one and you get a password for a certain level you can skip to, if you want to do that! Although most of you might have disabled passwords to start with or just look in the editor... still it's fun to reach them!
JCCLPRejects - 2 levels
These two levels were ultimately rejected at first because I was not that pleased with them upon creation for one reason or another. But after giving them some time in the spotlight in the previous version of JCCLP2, I realized others enjoyed them, enough to make me actually like them myself. So theoretically, these two were falsely rejected but they are here to stay and can be found towards the end of this set.
JoshL4 - 25 levels
In terms of my designing career, this set is where I found a style I was comfortable and happy with. Unfortunately my choices of making difficult levels instead of easier ones makes this set less fun than the others...
JoshL5 - 73 levels
Taking nearly a full year to make, this one is definitely my best set and the one I am the most proud of. It is also my personal favorite! It manages to retain simple to understand, original concepts, but still contains a ton of variety. The only thing I regret with this set is I wish I had arranged the levels in a more orderly fashion than what I did.
JoshL6 - 47 levels
Not as good but this one is a close runner up to its predecessor! Unlike JoshL5, this one is heavier on the aesthetics given the design trope of monsters on top of unusual tiles but still contains a wide variety of gameplay. Even so, levels from this set can be considered as a "mix" between the difficulty levels of JoshL4 and 5.
2 NEW LEVELS
These were very last minute creations. Thanks to the inspiration I got from seeing Jeffrey's medley levels from two of his sets, I just had to attempt to make two of my own - one for JoshL5 levels, and one for JoshL6 levels. For the most part, I am fairly proud of these but they could have been better. The difference between the two levels is the JoshL5 medley uses 16 8x8 sections while the JoshL6 medley uses 16 7x7 sections. Some edits were made to both of these, but they both still are fun to play and neither of them aren't too difficult. If you know what you're doing that is.
JCCLP3 might be a thing in the near future if I can make it happen! But don't count it
Thanks for sticking around with me and my levels for all these years. I wouldn't have made it this far without this community.

These are the entries for the June 2016 create competition. Being the first ever Chip's Challenge 2 competition, the goal of this was to create a tutorial styled level, since the main game lacked on proper introductions to some elements.
All entries are arranged in the order they were received. Enjoy!
Added my section, just a basic blue wall maze.
Added swapper-with-bugs in upper left.
This a preview of my next upcoming levelset, JoshL5. Featuring 8 out the current 31 new levels. Enjoy and please leave feedback in the thread below!
Looking through an old PC from years ago, I found this levelset, containing levels I made almost 9 years ago. Sharing here for the fact that most of these are hilarious to look at now and I want people to bash on these.
I, of course, do not recommend playing as I don't even know if all these are even solvable and I can definitely say this isn't Lynx compatible as some invalid tiles exist here.
Hopefully my newer levels can be appreciated upon looking at this piece of junk. : ^ )
Proof of me completing all 149 levels of CCLP1 in the MS ruleset.
This is an update to my CCLP4 submissions set. If there's ever a CCLP5 or something, and I'm not around, here's all the levels I choose to submit for such an occasion. I give all permissions for it, if it ever happens. Hopefully one day it does!
Contains 350 levels - most of which were submitted for CCLP4 already. The 37 levels that made it in that set, were removed and replaced with 37 newer levels I've made since then plus a few other changes. A couple of my earlier levels were removed due to them being simply outdated and have no hope of seeing them in an official set. I've also added 50 of the 70 levels from my recently released set - JoshL7.
All have been played and solved, in both rulesets. Take it seriously if you wish, I know some others did with the older version. But again, it's not assembled by difficulty. Have fun!
- Josh Lee [Flareon350]
This is a level I have been working on for a few days and as far as I know it is complete and fully playable in both rulesets.
You do not have to download this file, for it is also in JCCLP (level 143) and JoshL2 (level 146) so I recommend you update both those sets for this level to be included in them!
Improved and fixed.
The 5th set to the JoshL series. After just shy of a full year, this set now consists of 149 levels of moderate difficulty, 10 of which were seen in JCCLP. Entirely Lynx compatible and somewhat arranged by difficulty; the hardest levels are towards the end of the set. Most levels have been tested in both rulesets by Michael, Tyler, J.B., and myself. But if we missed something, please let me know!
This is also the source set of many of my levels seen in CCLP4.
Have fun and enjoy!
