  1. Good point, Architect. But I think "levelset" is already too ingrained in the Chip world.
  2. random, don't think I should fill someone else's folder with contents. That's a bit too pushy.
  3. Okay, okay, so this one is rather silly! Just thought we should standardize! Do you prefer "levelset" or "level set"? Once we decide, then we can all use the same thing. P.S. Polls 1 and 2 are more important!
  4. Also while going through the Yahoo files, I found that a bunch of sets are duplicated. For example, a set on the main page has an exact copy somewhere in a folder. If the majority feels files should not be duplicated on the Yahoo page, I can message the owners to ask them to remove one. If the majority doesn't care, we'll leave it as is.
  5. I've been going through the Yahoo page, and noticed that a few folders have been empty and abandoned for quite some time (we're talking years for some). They are: • Ben Wisemans Levels • cc levels • ncovert icon files • Programs for Chip's Challange <sic> • Tile World addons Please vote on whether (1) to leave them there empty, or (2) I should delete them. Of course I will contact the owner if I do so. Thanks!
  6. Ahhh, that's probably why I didn't know. I never use TileWorld. Okay, so what is a file that ends .dac.tws?? I have both .dac and .dac.tws, and they're completely different from each other. Thanks, noname!
  7. Ha ha, Noname! Great idea to fill space so the first person to give the correct answer isn't so visible! (And your answer was ve-e-ery creative, by the way.)
  8. This number can boast something that's unique among all numbers. What is it? 8549176320
  9. Oh, thank you, James. I have C4 already (first got it in 2003 when Brian put it out), but just couldn't remember that it was the one that created those maps. I went and ran the latest version I have (5.8), and looked at the instructions on screen. I then easily created another map. Perfect! Appreciate your help, my friend.
  10. Yes, I've used CCEdit as well. But I have a reason for wanting to identify the utility that made the map above. Does C4 make maps? If so, how? Thanks.
  11. You're the one who's odd, Ben. ;-)
  12. That's true, Dave, and I thought I had them all. But for some reason, I can't seem to identify the utility that made the map above. Do you recognize it?
  13. Thanks, Icey. I thought that C4's purpose was to convert a set to another file type. Are you sure it makes maps as well?
  14. I can't seem to find this great utility I used to use all the time for making maps. It created an ascii representation of the levels in a set, with all the important info. Below is an example. Please let me know which utility made this, and where I can get it again! 15. I didn't even read this blog, and I don't even care what it's about. I just have to tell you that the name of it is such brilliant wordplay, that it could be in Latin and I'd still give you five stars. Where can I go vote?
  16. Just discovered this thread. Ha ha - what a crack-up to read through. I love how Tom talked it being a time capsule for aliens. ;-) And I am so proud to be a February baby. February 23 to be exact. Just saw that weird Jim Carrey movie called "The Number 23" and it gave me chills.
