    I recently realized that the point at which I became serious about CC was closer to my birth than to today. In other words, for more than half my life this game has been a part of who I am. There have of course been some lulls here and there, but in some ways those were just the times I was distracted. And it's nice to know that I'll always have it to come back to. Anyway, enough of me being sentimental, this is probably what you came here for:

    #45 (The Longest Track): Neat level, although currently it's badly busted. In case anyone's curious, the longest tracks for 5 through 8 blocks are 82, 94, 96, 106. If you also count tracks that return to the original toggle button, then for 3 through 8 blocks the longest respective paths are 60, 76, 92, 100, 110, 116.

    This used to be the case, then at some point I rewrote a bunch of stuff and got lazy and stopped supporting it (times have to match exactly now). I think I have a good solution though. From now on the reports themselves will no longer include seconds. In order to synchronize a joint score report, report it 30 seconds after the minute for best chance of success. Also James' eye should stop twitching now.

  7. Zygote Pack - Discussion

    #14 (Lounge Act): I made it as far as 25,12 without "cheating". At this point the only thing preventing me from solving the level normally was the water at 9,24, but I was otherwise stuck, save exploiting bugs. So I "cheated" and used slide delay to ram a block at 24,12, then solved the rest of the level without cheating. The rest of the level was easier than it should have been because I had a spare yellow key. Finished with 5 popups unused (8,17, 8,18, 2,4, 19,18, and 11,24), but had to relinquish the force boots. Busted or not, it was still a challenging and satisfying level.

    For those not familiar, "Summer Games Done Quick" is the summer installment of "Awesome Games Done Quick", a speed-running marathon. I just saw a run of Ape Escape by someone called Hornlitz, whom I didn't realize was the same Hornlitz until he mentioned "noname".   11. A note for TW players: You can run out of time on an untimed level (though in most cases you will run out of sanity first). This happens after approximately 4 days, 20 hours, 30 minutes, and 30 seconds.

    10 years later, the hardest part of solving level 41 is finding a computer that still runs MSCC. I guess this would be an appropriate occasion for some trivia: The best possible score on level 7 is 984. I was originally planning for the chip counts and time limits to coincide with the digits of pi, but this ultimately proved too restrictive. The chip counts on levels 12 and 20 still remain, as does the time limit on level 15.
