  1. I made a WIP set before called FLX0 but never got around to adding more than 6 levels, I've taken 4 of those (with some minor modifications) and made new levels for FLX1 I plan on adding more to this set starting with just 8 levels though. Feedback is appreciated and once I'm done with this I'll use this set as my CC2LP1 submission
  2. You can easily get it off the steam workshop here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1337805165 And here's a couple of screenshots! I'm really really interested in any feedback any of you might have about these levels, even if it's just to tell me you don't like them... but I hope you do!

  4. Hi Chipland, I have recently formed a staff for CC2LP1. It consists of The Architect, chipster1059, H2O, Zane Kuecks, random 8, Ruben Spaans, and Tyler Sontag (me). The submissions deadline has been decided to be 31 May, 2019 at 23:59 in whatever timezone you're in. Be sure to post in the call for submissions thread if you want your levels to be considered for voting! ~ Tyler

This is my miscellaneous Chip's Challenge 2 levelset, akin to my CC1 version ZKIdeas. It will contain any and all silly ideas that don't fit into my main CC2 levelsets. (Warning: this levelset does contain foul language)
  8. [10:44:44 PM] Tyler Sontag: i should make a topic tbh Here's a topic where you can leave feedback for my CC2 set, TSα. It currently has 12 levels, and I'll post here when I make major updates. Enjoy!
  9. Version 1.1

    68 downloads

This is my debut CC2 levelset, originally released in 2015 and finalized in 2019. It contains twenty levels. Enjoy.
  10. "Bronze" is the first of at least four (hopefully) mid-sized CC2 levelsets that I've decided to invest time into developing. If you have any issues with the set to report or just want to leave public feedback, feel free! Download the latest version of the set log As of 2015/06/28: I'm aware of issues with #19, these will be fixed in 1.0.2
  11. I saw a page on the wiki saying there's a thread in these forums on Puzzle Studio. It linked to what I think is its old location, however, and I couldn't find one here (via search box).... So, uhmm, how's the progress?
  12. I can record solutions perfectly for very small and brief levels. (see first level attached). But after a certain amount of time (200-400 seconds?) it seems it causes it to fail for some reason and afterward (after it says "record complete" pressing F3 acts like it did not save at all. It does not seem to matter about what I do in the level or if I pause or tab away from the program. (see other attached level. Which, btw, is not very big or long compared to average standards). Anyone else have this problem? or any ideas on how to fix or what to do would be appreciated. Seeing as solutions must be recorded in order to upload to steam this is kind of an important problem. hook or crook.c2m defend fortress.c2m
  13. Which Chip's Challenge game of the Chip's Challenge saga do you play the most? Now that Chip's Challenge 2 has been out for some time, I was wondering if there are users out there who have completely left Chip's Challenge since the release of the sequel, users that still play Chip's Challenge every once in a while, or users that still play the first Chip's Challenge most of the time. As for me, I knew about Steam before Chip's Challenge 2 came out, never had it though, and am in no rush to get it, but I might consider getting it so I can get my hands on CC2. So even though lately I haven't been chipping much at all, everytime I have, it was with CC1 (or Tile World).
  14. Hello, Bit Busters! I've been working on some CC2 levels for a while, and decided I'd show off what I've assembled so far (20 levels) to see what people think. Several of these levels are based around exploring concepts with specific new design elements. This will be the start of my first main CC2 custom level set, which will probably end up containing at least 50, and hopefully 100, total levels. Some of these levels are brand-new, never-before-seen designs, and others are submissions for CC2 level design contests or ports of submissions for CC1 level design contests that I never put in any of my other sets. The levels are sequenced in the order I built them, not by difficulty. All of these levels are to be considered submitted for any and all CC2 community level packs we make in the future. Please let me know what you think of the levels, which ones are easiest/hardest, and if you discover any busts or problems. Happy Chipping! EDIT: Jeffrey already found a bust in Casino Royale, so I'll work on fixing that and upload a new version, possibly tomorrow. EDIT 2: Updated! Now at Version 0.201.
  15. Version 0.210

    14 downloads

This is the beginning of my first main CC2 custom level set. So far it contains 20 levels, but I plan to make many more, perhaps as many as 100 like my CC1 levelsets. Many of these levels are new designs; however, some of them are submissions to previous contests involving CC2 level design, and some are ports of CC1 contest levels that I never put into any of my CC1 sets. Currently the levels are sorted by the order I made them, not by difficulty. That will probably change in the next preview I make, once I get more levels made. I hereby submit all levels in this set for consideration in any community-made CC2 level packs, regardless of what they're called (CC2LP1 or any other name we come up with). Please let me know what you think of the levels, or if you find any busts or bugs! (Not the crawly kind.) Also if you could tell me which levels you found the easiest or the hardest, that'd be awesome. As a designer it's hard to judge the difficulty of my own levels, especially CC2 levels because of all the new elements I'm still getting used to. You can post your feedback here:

version 1 released Feb 2, 2018. Currently 26 levels. All Levels have been tested; should be all solvable and all bonuses should be obtainable as well. Please let me know immediately if a level is unsolvable or of any other problems. This pack has no custom music atm. Any feedback is welcome. Post here: or PM me.
  17. A brand new CC2 level pack by mobius, Inspired by Joshua Bone's "Walls of CC1" I decided to take on a similar project; for CCLP2! All of these levels are modeled directly after the levels from CCLP2 (the first big community pack of CC1). My overall rules and goals aren't exactly like Josh's WOCC1. I haven't always kept the level size 32x32 or left the walls untouched. But every level I've either tried to keep the basic overall shape or use a similar concept but CC2-ify it. Hopefully those familair with CCLP2 may be able to recognize the levels. The levels will be in the same order as the original pack so the difficulty curve may be all over the place as I'm not really trying to order the levels based on this; but since many of the earlier levels of CCLP2 were smaller and simpler these beginning levels ended up rather easier anyway. There are no tutorial levels however; I recommend getting a at least a decent understanding of the game mechanics before playing. CCLP2 was probably the first custom pack I played back in the day so this is very nostalgic for me. I also found it incredibly helpful for getting into making new levels again; after a very long writer's block. It was a very fun project and I definitely will be continuing it. There are currently 26 levels complete. The end goal is all 149; though I have no idea if I will be able to complete it or when. Thanks to Josh for the idea and other people here at CCZone for playing and giving feedback and advice. All feedback is welcomed, positive or negative. If a level is too easy or too hard; especially if it's busted, unfair or doesn't work properly I want to know.

  19. Sup guys, it's Tyler. I don't think I've run a Create Competition before so I am proud to present my first! For this competition, I wanted to celebrate the upcoming Chip's Challenge 2 three year release anniversary (on May 28th) with this month's theme: Chip's Challenge 2 - Back to Basics The CC2 editor was originally tiny, so many of the original CC2 levels are 10x10. It's been 20 years since those levels were designed and making huge levels is enticing, but for this competition I want you to make a 10x10 CC2 level to show how far level design has come and what neat concepts you can pack into a small space Guidelines: 1. The level must be your own and not already be publicly released. 2. The size of the level map MUST be 10x10. The level contents can of course be smaller, but CC2 cannot handle smaller map sizes than 10x10. 3. It should be a CC2 level. If you do not own or cannot run CC2, I will allow CC1 levels to be submitted, given that it could be theoretically ported to CC2 (e.g. no taking advantage of CC1's trap connections! ) 4. The deadline is May 31st, 11:59 PM EDT (GMT-4). PM me on CCZone or Discord (quiznos00#3068) to submit your level(s). You can submit up to 5 levels for consideration. Have fun!

This makes Chip's Challenge look a lot more consistent in many ways. Misalignments and miscoloration are gone, all objects now have shadows except blobs, ghosts, and players, and the swivel doors in particular are neater.
