  1. Is it possible to have more than 999 levels in one set, or is this a limitation in the Chip's Challenge program/Level files? I'm not sure about Tile World by the way.
  2. So in Chip's Challenge, do the untimed levels give you more points than the regular timed ones? For example, CCLP2 had no untimed levels I think. Does this mean the score would be lower or higher if there were untimed levels or not?
  3. Does anyone else think we should make a CC Zone channel on Youtube? This way we can post the winning competition entries on Youtube.
  4. It's interesting to hear people's stories on when they first played Chip's Challenge. I must have been about 3 or 4 when I first bumped into it. It was the first computer in our house and it was Windows 3.1 and it had the Windows Entertainment Pack, and no surprisingly Chip's Challenge was the game I played on it the most. The game's memories became lost in me for a while, but then I remembered the name of the game all of a sudden again. What about you?
  5. Well, one sort of exists... http://www.amazon.com/Chips-Challenge-Fleeting-Abandoned-Rainstorm/dp/1234671832 That's pretty cool!
  6. I've added a TWS files section on the CC Zone download database. Hopefully it's all working, but if you want somewhere to upload your proof of achieving something, it's now possible and can also be used for trying to gain awards. I won't be using AVI recording uploads, at least not yet.
  7. So, which of the two game compatibilities do you prefer. Both have their advantages and disadvantages of course. The MS version allows illegal tile placement and better boosting capabilities, whilst the Lynx version is smoother, allows block slapping, and no invalid tile placements. For me, I find myself switching from one to the other constantly. What do you think?
  8. Version 1.2

You have downloaded BigOto Returns v1.2. BigOto Returns, or BigOto7.ccl, is © Trevor Hedges (BigOto) 2012. The set may be used for consideration in CCLP1 and all future level distributions whether "official" or not. DO NOT redistribute these levels individually or under anyone else's name; all credit for these levels used in any distribution must go to me. To play this level set, simply download Tile World and then merge the folders in this download with it's folders. It will then show up at the main menu. I have mainly tested the set in Lynx but if I am suspicious that a certain part may not be MS compatible I test it there too; thus I am almost sure that every level is compatible in both rulesets. CCLP1 staff please confirm that all levels are solvable in both rulesets, and I will apply the appropriate fixes when needed. The levels start out easy with simple lesson concepts (some of which are admittedly stupid), and gets much harder as the levels get higher. There are 100 levels in total, but at some point I may expand to 149. Some levels were originally in my older set PB Gourami Levelsets (PBGA.dat) and have been modified to work in Lynx, while others are completely new and have never been seen before. If you have any questions, concerns, or fixes that you want me to make, please post at the CCZone level discussion forum here: http://cczone.invisi...vel-discussion/ You can also contact me there, at the username BigOto2. Please do not contact me on YouTube as such messages will be ignored.
  9. So guys, what is your favourite Chip's Challenge 1 secret level. These are levels 145-149 and you can't get to these levels without a password. My personal favourite is SPECIAL because I think it is genius to have the exit hidden under a block, and casual players would never guess where it was. Your thoughts?
  10. Hello Chipsters! I decided to revive the competitions from the old CC Zone. You may already recognise two so far. They are: Create: Chipsters will have to make a level based on specific requirements and will be judged overall as the best. Time Trial: Fastest to complete a level, or a specific group of levels at once. I would also like to introduce a new competition. Treasure Hunter: Collect as many chips, keys, and boots while finishing the level at the same time. More announcements and competitions to come soon!
