  4. Making level maps

I can't seem to find this great utility I used to use all the time for making maps. It created an ascii representation of the levels in a set, with all the important info. Below is an example. Please let me know which utility made this, and where I can get it again! 6. CC Zone Best Level Tournament 2015

Before I leave my CC Zone Administrator/Site Owner position, I thought I would do a bracket tournament with the 32 best ranked levels from last year's CC lists to go head-to-head and see who wins. Simply vote for the level you want to proceed to the next round in each match up. Click the link below and check each topic for voting. 7. MO3

Hello again CCZone! MO3 is a level set I started a year ago. Since then, I've lost motivation for CC so I haven't worked on the set much. Now it's Christmas and I've finally decided to release the levels. The primary goal of MO3 was to make levels that look really nice. It is also probably my hardest set, since I used up my ideas for easier levels for CCLP1. The set includes 9 finished levels, which are all medium to hard, but greatly differ in length. I also included 3 levels which are close to being complete, but were never finished due to a lack of motivation. Download: http://cczone.invisionzone.com/index.php?/files/file/428-mo3/ Enjoy! Please post feedback in this thread. All levels have been tested in lynx only, so please report anything MS-exclusive. Screenshots:

  9. Dedications - Discussion

http://cczone.invisionzone.com/index.php?/files/file/356-dedicationsdat/ From what came as an idea to use for CC1, later came to the same idea, but using designer's levels. This set's intention is to reward who are the best known level designers and to credit them on their success. Also, I just updated the set at the time of posting this... yeah. Discuss away in this thread anything regarding this set and if you know any designer that is not credited in this set, please let me know. Otherwise, enjoy
  10. http://cczone.invisionzone.com/index.php?/files/file/297-nebuchadnezzar-beta/ Here is my second level pack of ten levels. Feedback is much appreciated as I'm very bad judging my own levels. This one doesn't contain any tricks or jokes. It's a little more influenced from newer levels I've played and watched LP's of recently. It's intended for playing under either rule-set, except for one level; Perpetual which works but doesn't look as cool in MS. Please let me know of any other inequities or busts. It's "beta" because I always anticipate problems I forgot and intend to fix things when people report them. I may be adding one or two more levels to it. Or I might just put them in my third set. Since I’ve been playing all kinds of new levels in this voting and watching videos of various well designed level sets, I’ve gotten a much better idea of what makes a fun chips challenge level. It may take longer, however, to actually begin designing better levels of my own. Taking a look over it now that it's done, there seems to be a lot of bombs and dodging type levels. However, it's nothing like blob net or really difficult dodging. Most of my levels are on the easy side. Also thanks to those that played my first one and gave input. and happy 100th post to me!

  14. Guess That Level Name!

In this game, you have to guess what is the level title according to the given hints. For example: ---------- - This level is from CCLP2. - The exit is visible from the start, but it is guarded by a line of pink balls. - You can't return back to where you started unless you have a green key. - This level is unplayable in Lynx because there's a thin wall on the lower layer. What level is it? ---------- Person below will post the answer, and make another question: It's "Creative One-Ways" -This level is... - Has time limit of... and so on ---------- Let's get started! - The main objective of this level is to avoid collecting the chips - There's a room with... um... obvius suicide methods? - A CCLP3 Level Also, try to not to peek into the editor!
  15. So, people have been wondering if there could be CC Zone awards for completing specific custom level sets. I am not 100% sure on this so far, but I'll leave this thread open for ideas. I think it would be great for it to be levelsets of 149 levels and all of them to be solvable, but it may not be a requirement yet, so I'll keep this open for opinions.
  16. Crash Landing

Crash Landing, A level that will appear in my second levelset, MO2.

If you want to play my levels in Lynx, i suggest downloading CamdenCCLP1.dat, since all of these levels are (should be) Lynx compatable. It is also availabe at Pie Guy's site, so feel free to report your scores there! Enjoy!
  18. The Official CC Zone Level Up Thread!

As you level up in the CC Zone Forums, give you say on the level you're currently on while posting in this topic. One sentence to describe it would be perfect. Scavenger Hunt - A great maze like level finding certain objects that I personally found not boring at all!
