since many of the sounds in the CC2 game are inconsistent in volume I manually adjusted them; I think these are more appropriate and less irritating. Simply unzip the folder, and replace the wav folder with your own wav folder inside: "SteamApps/common/chip's challenge 2/data" You may want to back up your own wav folder just in case. -

This is a tileset based off the 1984 Atari/Commodore game, Boulder Dash (with some elements also used from its official and fan-made sequels.) Version for both Lynx and Microsoft are included with several tweaks made between the two to accommodate for different graphical behaviors. I've yet to draw some more fitting particle explosions, but the default ones don't look too bad - and new ones are by no means out of the question yet; I just don't have time currently. I've also included quite a few sounds as well as a different set of pop-up messages for TW2 users. Within the folder are two "rc" files - the "rc - BD" is the standard one that will use all the new elements: graphics, sounds, and messages (TW2). The other, "rc - BD-gfx_only" is also included, should you wish to use only the altered graphics alone. Please enjoy and don't hesitate to contact me with any queries and/or suggestions! -
Do you have any custom sounds you have replaced on Chip's Challenge/Tile World? For my exit level sound on Tile World I have the Metroid Prime Item Collect fanfare playing, and Sonic sounds on others too.
