If Dinosaurs roamed the Earth now?

Recommended Posts

I tend to think that humans would have hunted them into near-extinction a long time ago, sort of like bison. Hence, you'd only see them in zoos or in national parks.

That said, it would definitely be awesome to have a pet stegosaurus. Shame that you'd have to be pretty rich in order to afford the cost of food...

^ This.

But we might keep the smaller ones as pets.

The story of King George and the Dragon could be true -- we might have just killed them all.....

She's a teacher?

I think the flying dinosaurs would be pretty cool to have around. On the other hand, it might take away from some of the childish simplicity of pointing up at the sky and proclaiming, "Airpwane!" (sic).

Can you really see kids owning Dinosaurs? The bullies would get killed because the kid will bring in his Dinosaur and eat them. :P

Darn, you're starting to make me wish I had a dinosaur when I was a kid!

(Sort of like the Calvin & Hobbes comic where Calvin takes Hobbes to school so that Hobbes can eat the kids who're picking on Calvin.)

I'm fond of double contractions: things like "i'd've." Anyway, I don't think "who're" is used frequently enough that I've seen that particular typo...maybe it's just the sorts of circles I post in.

I'm thinking of that recent Doctor Who episode in which an alternate reality existed where pterodacytls still roamed the Earth and randomly attacked people, warranting the "Watch Out for Pterodactyl Attacks!" signs. ;)

This totally reminds me of my childhood when I would spend some days watching The Land Before Time movies :)

If you've seen these movies, I would totally want Spike (Y)

Nobody is allowed to make topics about Twilight on CC Zone!

And who doesn't want to see Dinosaurs eating famous people and becoming breaking news on many news reports?

Try googling cadborosaurus. (or cryptozoology) One of the sightings was near my old alma mater in victoria, bc and they actually had a carcass at one time.

You have no idea how tempted I am to make a Twilight thread right now.

(BTW, Twilight also has the lush Kristen Stewart going for it.)

Please don't. I think majority of us are begging you don't make such a thread.

Really? That's awesome! I only watched up to the 8th one unfortunately...

The same Kristen Stewart who practically has only one facial expression? :P

That just adds to the sexiness, in a very weird and unexplainable way.

I do believe that I would pass up Lea Thompson in favor of Kristen Stewart. If I had a little sister who peppered the walls of our house with Twilight posters, I don't think I'd complain.
